Altered Chic was founded by Lisa Swift. Her love of all things handmade and a passion for unique and affordable homeware and accessories began the dream for her indie business.

The dream is to produce beautiful items perfect for turning a house into a home. Whether you are are looking for that little extra touch for your own home, or to purchase a gift for a loved one, you will find a piece ideal for those looking for something a little different.

The products at Altered Chic are inspired by French interiors and country style living. Every piece is hand-cut, hand-painted and put together with love and care in Lisa’s Derbyshire workshop & studio. She believes that homes are a special place and that everything in them should be special too.

As well as selling online, Lisa regularly attends craft fairs and other local events in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. You can view the events page to see where and when she will be holding a craft stall.
